We finished all of our editing. We had to drag out some of the non-talking clips to make it long enough. We also added music to the non-talking clips.

We finished filming. My team is not very smart. They decided to have me read a script and drive. It worked but not safe.
11-22-11 VP
We are fixing the script. We are gonna go out and shoot. We don't have Lexi so its gonna be a little challenging.

11-21-11 VP
We are going to try to get the scripts done. We have two of the scripts done. We have to stay on task and i think thats about it.

We got some of the script done. We are still working on it. We mostly stayed on task. For the last like five minutes i picked on Kayleb.
11-17-11 VP
We are hopefully going to finish our scripts. I have to read the pages you've assigned. I also have to stay on task. Kind of a hard thing to do.

We started our two column script. We started our story board. We decided to what pick-up to use.
11-15-11 VP
We are going to work on the script and the story board. We can accomplish this by staying on task. Also by my knee allowing me to put pressure on it.

We did our bell work then took a test. It didn't take that long for me to do the test. It was fairly easy. After i took the text i looked at the lighting picture you put on your blog and then worked on my chocolate skull.

The most interesting thing i learned in our group discussion is about the color wheel difference between pastels and lights. Pastels are paints, markers, crayons, etc. There primary colors are red, yellow, and blue. If you add all the pastels together you get black. Light's primary colors are blue, green, and red. If you add all of the light colors together you get white.

Illusion has many different parts. There is scale which is the size of one shape or object in relation to another. Volume- the illusion of a form with mass or weight. There is also picture plane, illusion of spatial depth, perspective, and tompe l' oeil.

We finished the proposal and treatment. Lexi and i tried to understand what we are doing. Austin and Casey were writing the treatment and proposal. We just have to get approval from you.
11-14-11 VP
We are going to hopefully finish our proposal and treatment. We need to stay on task and work. I also need to read out of my book thing.
11-14-11 GD
We read like we do everyday. I worked on my chocolate skull. I'm not getting very far but only because I'm confused on how to work the smudge tool. Every time i try to do what they are asking it turns out looking mental.

Rhythm in graphic design is understanding the difference between repetition and variation. You have to have a sense that things move from one picture to the next. Unity is when the elements look like they belong together. You have to organize visual elements and establish a common bond among them.

We are about almost done with the proposal. The treatment is coming along. I didn't get any reading done. Casey and Austin are working on the proposal and treatment. Lexi and I just kind of sat there and watched the whole time.
11-10-11 VP
We are going to finish the treatment and proposal. We will have to have everyone on task. I also need to read the pages you assigned.

I found a new project. It's called.... well I'm not sure of the exact name but you turn a skull to chocolate. I just got started so I've only got the background erased. It's a working progress.

You can use texture to change the mood by giving it a different tactile or visual texture. The visual texture of the boxes kind of sets a nature quality and i sense of tranquility. As to when you have have the visual texture of the bicycle. It gives more of a rough and unsafe feeling.

11-9-11 VP
We are going to do a video on testing random vehicles. Casey is working on the treatment. Austin is working on the proposal. Lexi and i are reading the pages you assigned.
11-9-11 VP
The end of yesterday i attempted to read from your book seeing how computers hate me. I didn't get very far seeing how Travis Smith hole punched the book wrong. I re punched the holes in the book and put them in the right order.
Today i think we are going to work on the treatment and proposal some more. We need to decide what we are even do the video on. We also need to not get off track and stay working to get this accomplished.

We are going to start writing out treatment and proposal. If it hasn't already been started. I also have to read the pages on camera stuff although its gonna be kinda hard seeing how video and graphics don't open for me.
11-8-11 GD
Today we went over color. I worked on my devil's eye when we finished reading. I had a hard time figuring out how to make the edge of the pupil look like i wanted it to and ended up going back and redoing it several times until i got it to where i wouldn't totally freak because it wasn't exact. It's hard but fun work.

Advantages of keeping a source book would be giving you ideas on what to do. You could put clippings of things you liked. Articles that caught your eye with a neat design or cool graphics. You might even put some of your earlier designs in there to refer back to at times when you need to.
11-8-11 GD
You can make something look taller by where you place the object you want to make look taller. Say if you put some thing on the edge of the screen that is already fairly tall it will make it look taller. Also if you put it in the back and at the edge it will look taller. To make something wider you would put it at the bottom or top of the screen and stretch it out.

What kind of video production would i like to do? i want to do a project on something fun and exciting. Like how to sell candy to little kids, or why hiring an exorcist for a teacher would be a bad idea. Something funny.
11-3-11 VP
The rundown has the most information. The producer is the one who uses the rundown. It tell where people should be and times i think. I'm not a hundred percent but pretty for sure.
11-3-11 GD
I worked on my devils eye. I haven't gotten far but i got started. The next step is to change the color of the iris and make it more orange.

When critiquing your design look at others designs. See if they had the same idea. If you don't think its original enough you can always redo it.

11-2-11 VP
We finished chapter 3. We kinda sorta went over terms. I attempted to prove to Travis Smith, Casey Gore, and Kayleb Williams that i have a cousin that is in a music video.
11-2-11 VP
We went over four different kinds of scripts. A two-column script which is a two column script kind of self explanatory. Rundown has the most information on it. An outline script is what needs to be done. A film style is also a screen play or cast script so its the script that has what the talent is supposed to say.
11-2-11 GD
I found what i want to do instead of the TV. The steps aren't as easy to read. It looks like a fun project though.

The most important thing in critiquing your project is making sure it has all the necessities. Ask your self who is my audience? Whose my competition? Where is it going to be at? What message am i trying to portray? What media am i using? If you think that you don't have all the answer to these questions then your project isn't done.

They have to know how to do just about everything. They are the producer they do what ever they want. If something goes wrong on the set then they have to know what to do.
11-1-11 GD
I gave up on my TV. I'm looking for a new project to do with a tutorial. I'm found a couple that are kind of interesting but I'm sure i can do it because of a lack of information. Tomorrow I will decide on one and start on it.
11-1-11 GD
1. Produce overall design. 2. When you have text you should produce them in Word and then copy past them over your text so that the curning is right. 3. Create all your art work in Photoshop but make sure your layout reads the kinds of files it uses. Also make sure the colors are the same. 4. Make sure that the colors you use in your design match the colors for the printer. 5. When you scan pictures its important to make sure you save it with the right color resolution. 6. Proof your work so that your client can see what it looks like. Then if and when he approves he can take it to his print man and make sure colors match. 7. When you send things to a printer make sure you have all your parts and pieces to it. 8. Put all your digital material on a CD or upload it to the printer's website. If you upload it make sure you use something so that it doesn't mess up the resolution. 9. Submit this all along with a full color printout so the client can see what it looks like all together. Also add a page of information saying name of job, date of submission, and so on and so forth.
